Why an architect behind the camera

Most photographers see a building. I see the decisions behind it: why the eave is that depth, where the morning light was meant to fall, what the client fought to keep in the budget.

Before every shoot, I go through your drawings and intent with you, the same conversation I’ve had with clients for three decades. The result is a set of images that explains your design, not just shows it.

How a shoot works

  1. Brief. We walk through the drawings, the design story and where the images will be used.
  2. Plan. I scout the site and time the shoot to the light and the season, so you’re not left working around them.
  3. Shoot. Exteriors, interiors and details in one visit, with aerial views where the site suits, styled with you or your client.
  4. Deliver. Edited, colour-corrected images, sized for print, web and publication, with a licence for how you’ll use them.
